As parents ourselves and whilst I was employed as business manager for another student letting agency in Lenton, Nottingham , it quickly became obvious to me that the company that I worked for did not understand the basic needs of its clients, the students. I could not confidently say that all of the properties were of a standard that I felt were suitable for my own children to live in and I also didn’t feel confident in the systems that were in place for dealing with problems, maintenance or repairs, I therefore wanted to change and improve this. I wanted to make changes there and work with the students rather than against them and things improved, however in a time of difficulty like many other businesses I was unfortunately made redundant.

It was at that point that I had to make a decision about the future and despite the fact it did not seem a particularly good time to start a business with a recession hanging over us that’s exactly what I did, I was joined immediately by my husband soon after and then shortly after that we employed Christina Musson and Natalie Fisher both of them became valuable members of the team, together we set about building a business that cared, listened and understood our most important clients, the students at university in Nottingham at both the University of Nottingham and at Nottingham Trent University.

As a small business we are able to do things our own way, the team are not tied to an office 9-5.30 and are able to visit the properties and our students regularly, our students also know us well and know that they can call us, text us, email us or drop us a line on our busy Facebook site. It gives me great pleasure to say that overall our students are polite, respectful of the properties that they share with other students and most of all recommend us to their friends and other students on their courses. I hope that this means we are getting it right and that they feel we are a caring student letting agency.

We have grown enormously in our first few years and now manage over 120 student properties in Nottingham, we specialise in HMOs, houses of multiple occupation and work closely with Nottingham City Council, if there is a problem with rubbish disposal or noise for example we are notified and work with the tenants to rectify the problem swiftly and without upset to the household.

We also work closely with Unipol and were one of the first student letting agents to achieve accreditation in Nottingham. We work hard to ensure that our properties are above the expected standard and only take properties on if the landlord agrees with our ethics and policies. We have turned away many landlords that I felt did not have our high standards.

You can be sure that our properties and our landlords will provide you with a student house you will be happy to live in.

We hope that you will not be disappointed with our service but if things go wrong what should you do?

We provide Student Accommodation, High Quality Student Houses and Homes across Nottingham for University Students at University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, Beeston, Dunkirk, Lenton, City Centre, Lenton Abbey, Radford, Forest Fields
